Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 New Teaser & Screenshots Show-Off Promethea

Seven years after Borderlands 2 we will finally be getting its sequel in less than a month and a half, and people are just excited about it. Fortunately, Gearbox is aware of the huge hype around Borderlands 3 and it has released enough gameplay footage and trailers so far, but still, the official Twitter account of the game has recently shared some gorgeous screenshots from different locations within the upcoming first-person shooter and, believe me, you don’t want to miss them.

To be more accurate, the new screenshots reveal Promethea, Home to the Atlas corporation and a metropolitan world encompassing both rich and poor neighborhoods. One end of the city is slumdog and the other end is covered in towers and neon lights. The urban areas of the city, however, affected by a siege by Maliwan, which has turned the place of love and life to a battlefield. Here you can read full description of Promethea:

Home to the Atlas corporation headquarters, Promethea is a metropolitan world covered in futuristic towers of chrome and glass. A recent siege by Maliwan has turned the urban environment into a warzone; their mechanized infantry patrol the streets, rodent/insect hybrids known as Ratches infest the sewers and back-alleys, and the Children of the Vault are seizing the opportunity to recruit displaced and disgruntled citizens. Atlas CEO Rhys Strongfork is getting desperate.

Borderlands 3 will be launched on September 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game’s PC version will be Epic Games Store exclusive for six months, which caused a lot of negative reactions against 2K Games and Gearbox, but still nothing has been changed.
