Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 Gets a New Direction

Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs announced today some organizational changes to the Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 development team. Narrative Lead Brian Mitsoda and Creative Director Ka’ai Cluney has departed Hardsuit Labs and will not be working on the awaited RPG.

According to the official statement, the departure of both Narrative Lead Brian Mitsoda and Creative Director Ka’ai Cluney was a joint decision reached by leadership at Hardsuit Labs and Paradox Interactive. Mitsoda is a veteran to the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise, the developer expressed his frustration and shock in a statement with Rock Paper Shotgun,

Alexandre Mandryka has been appointed as a creative consultant for the development of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. Officially, Mandryka will take the Creative Director role for Bloodlines 2, and will help us in the final stages of development.

Alexandre is committed to following the vision that is in place, and successfully bringing Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 to the fans.

Alexandre has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has worked on iconic franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Warhammer 40,000, Far Cry, and more. With a long history of shipping excellent franchises, we are excited with what Alexandre brings to the game and the World of Darkness.
