BlazBlue: Central Fiction Coming to Europe in Q4 2016

Aksys has officially announced that BlazBlue: Central Fiction will be making its way stateside. The game is set to hit PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles in Europe via publisher PQube in Q4 2016.

In North America, the game is due out this winter.

Central Fiction is the latest in the BlazBlue franchise and brings with it a hefty batch of fresh content. With a larger roster now consisting of 33 fighters, players will be able to get their hands on Nine, Hibiki, Naoto, Izanami, and even XBlaze’s Es — who makes a guest appearance.

This iteration also adds new game mechanics such as Active flow and Exceed Accel, as well as more story content to play through.

Check out the Trailer:

“BlazBlue: Central Fiction Features:

40+ hour story mode – A Brand New Chapter in the Saga. A massive story mode coupled with new modes and mechanics will keep you coming back for more!

30+ Characters – Compelling visual designs and creative combat mechanics dominate this cast of excellent characters.

60+ Stages – New locales and familiar stomping grounds are all rendered in 3D and offer a unique contrast to the intricately hand-drawn 2D fighter sprites.

Glorious 2D visuals – Insanely detailed 2D hand-drawn sprites coupled with astonishing 3D rendered backgrounds create a world unlike anything you’ve seen before!”
