Publisher Team17 and developer The Game Kitchen announced that Blasphemous II will launch in late summer 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. An announcement trailer was also released. In Blasphemous II, players return as The Penitent One, to play a story that continues from the original game’s free “Wounds of Eventide” DLC, where “The Heart in the sky heralded the return of The Miracle and foretold the birth of a new miracle child.”
