Bethesda just tweeted a Fallout teaser

Bethesda Game Studios has just tweeted a gif of their post apocalyptic series’ loading screen, with the caption ‘Please Stand By’.

The ‘Please Stand By’ tagline is pretty unhelpful, but the logo itself tells us a little more. It’s a different colour to that of Fallout 3 (green), Fallout New Vegas (orange), or Fallout 4 (grey), and that suggests that this is a brand-new game, rather than anything building off what’s already happened. That said, we do know that it’s nearly ten years since Fallout 3 was released, so this could still be a tenth-anniversary remaster.

That the tweet comes from Bethesda Game Studios, rather than Bethesda the publisher, suggests that the game is being developed in-house.
