Near the end of today’s Nintendo Direct, Mr. Yoshiaki Koizumi unveiled the announcement trailer for Astral Chain, a new game being developed by Platinum Games.
Character Designer Masakasu Tatsura with the supervision of Bayonetta’s Director Hideki Kamiya and Nier: Automata Director Takahisa Taura joined forces to developed this futuristic mecha action game.
Koizumi teased about Astral Chain having a unique combat mode, and promised more information about it soon. Astral Chain is scheduled to release on August 30.

Astral Chain is a new action game from PlatinumGames, the creators of the Bayonetta™ series. As part of a police special forces unit in a multi-cultural futuristic city, players work together with a humanoid special weapon, Legion, in a synergetic action system of battle and exploration.
