Ancestors Gets New Gameplay Footage; EGS Exclusivity Confirmed

Charles Darwin’s Natural Selection theory appeared in the world of science over a century ago and still there are so much ideas about the theory to deny it or prove it but none of them hasn’t been fully successful so far. The British scientist’s research on the evolution of human being has made its way through many fields and challenged a lot of ideas and beliefs in different ways. With such a great earth-quake in scientific discoveries, a medium like video games shouldn’t miss the chance to take the idea in the world of dreams and that’s what Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is attempting to do.

Developed by Panache Digital Games under the control of creator of Assassin’s Creed series, the game will take you ten million years ago to a world that’s more dangerous than what it is now. In the shoes of a monkey, which is known as the unevolved kind of human, you should live in wilderness trying to adapt to the nature and keep your clan secured while developing it to cause evolution in the next generations.

The brand new gameplay footage of the game, which is captured on a PC by Nvidia RTX series, showcases 2 minutes a mission in which you should find your child and rob some food from an eagle’s nest. Here you can check out the new trailer for the game:

Along with revealing the new gameplay footage, Take-Two Interactive, the publisher behind the game, officially announced that PC version of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be Epic Games Store exclusive for one year as of launch. The game will hit PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2019.
