A Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 Guitar Hero Reference Will Be Removed

An Easter egg referencing Guitar Hero in an unflattering way has been found in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. A post on Reddit shows an image showing a Guitar Hero-like game in a trash can in the Waterpark stage of the game. Some players found the joke to be humorous and a great reference to the game while others found the joke disrespectful. Developer Iron Galaxy commented under the same post to address the image and claims it will be removed in the game’s next update. “We have the utmost respect for anyone who makes games,” the studio wrote, “we’re investigating how that got in there in the first place. Thank you to the community for bringing this to our attention and we’ll be removing that from the environment art in the next update.” Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 launched on July 11 and is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Microsoft Store, and Battle.net.
