According to a new post from Bloomberg, Blizzard Entertainment and NetEase have reportedly canceled an unannounced World of Warcraft mobile game. Known internally as “Neptune”, the game was to be a new spin-off mobile MMORPG set in the World of Warcraft series and was reportedly in development for three years until it was recently scrapped due to a financial dispute regarding the game. Blizzard’s most recent Mobile World of Warcraft title, Warcraft Arclight Rumble, was announced on May 3.
