Quantum Error Announced for PS5

TeamKill Media has just announced Quantum Error, their cosmic-horror, first-person shooter currently in development for the PS5 and PS4. The studio did not share a release date or any information of the game.

The only information for Quantum Error come from three short videos, the announcement teaser and two gameplay clips that has been revealed via Twitter. TeamKill Media has announced that 99% of objects in the game will be physically simulated. Bullet impact marks, recoil, screen shake and particle effects where also revealed.

According to TeamKill Media, the footage of the trailer is generated by Unreal Engine, however the developer says that the final product may change.

TeamKill Mediais an American game studio based out of Sheridan, WY. Founded by the four Jones brothers in 2016 with the objective of creating “amazing games for gamers”. According to their website, the development team counts with over ten years experience in various creative industries.

“To create worlds that put artistry, story and (most importantly) fun first and immerse players in a complete, lasting and unforgettable gaming experience.

The four of us bring distinct and unique preferences when it comes to genres and entertainment, making our creations one of a kind.”

Their previous game, Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, might give players more information about the studio. The game released on PC via Steam and PS4 in late 2019, is an action adventure gory game.

“Forsaken and betrayed by your own Order, fight back against the forces of a long-forgotten realm as you try to save existence from the evil of a usurper king in pursuit of what lies beyond immortality.” Reads the game’s description.

The game has a solid fan base for such a small publisher, the game launched with some bugs that forced a few buyers to ask for a refund, but at the moment, most of Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris, reviews on Steam are positives.
