KINGDOM HEARTS III DLC Coming in January and February

The KINGDOM HEARTS III ‘Re Mind’ DLC is coming to PlayStation 4 on January 23, 2020 and Xbox One on February 25, 2020.

The ‘Re Mind’ DLC gives players the opportunity to experience a new episode with Sora as he makes “his way back to his friends and discovers truths that he has never before imagined.” In addition, SQUARE ENIX released a ‘Re Mind’ trailer alongside the DLC’s announcement, which teases the appearance of Aerith from FINAL FANTASY VII.

‘Re Mind’ will contain multiple boss battles, a “Limitcut and Secret Episode,” a greeting mode, slideshow features, and a new “Premium Menu” mode that includes various difficulty settings and gameplay challenges.

Moreover, KINGDOM HEARTS III will be receiving a free patch update (Version 1.07) in January. The update implements “a main story update, new abilities and a new form for Sora along with the addition of Keyblades, ‘Oathkeeper’ and ‘Oblivion.’” Expanded sharing features will also be available for players.

KINGDOM HEARTS III is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Gamers can pre-order the ‘Re Mind’ DLC (USD $29.99) or the ‘Re Mind’ plus Concert Video Package (USD $39.99). The latter version includes all KINGDOM HEARTS III: Re Mind content and “footage from KINGDOM HEARTS — World of Tres Orchestra concert recorded in Osaka, Japan on November 30, 2019.”

The concert video is not available as an individual purchase and can only be acquired by purchasing the ‘Re Mind’ plus Concert Video Package.

KINGDOM HEARTS III released in Japan on January 25, 2019 and worldwide on January 29, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It is the twelfth installment in the KINGDOM HEARTS series and concludes the ‘Dark Seeker saga.’
