Fortnite’s New Update Adds Vending Machines

Fortnite’s New Update Adds Vending Machines

It was announced today that the latest update for Fortnite Battle Royale adds vending machines to the game that will sell players randomized loot. But don’t worry, those vending machines aren’t loot boxes, Fortnite’s new vending machines look more like an easy way to spend surplus in-game materials (not real-world money) in the hopes of scoring something good.

Check out the vending machine trailer of Fortnite Battle Royale, featuring a glimpse of the new vending machines:

The Fortnite Tem said in their official website:

“Starting this week, we are doing things a little differently. Every other week we will drop new content without the need for an update. These will be called Content Updates. This new cadence allows us to iron out more complex bugs, while continuing to provide fun content every week.

Vending Machine (Battle Royale)
Sweets you want, without the sugar rush. Materials go in, loot comes out.

Got materials to spare? Spend them at Vending Machines, now found in many locations across the island. Each Vending Machine offers 3 different deals, rarity and items chosen at random.

High Explosives v2 (Battle Royale)
Things are really BOOM-ing in v2 of this explosive mode! Remote Explosives and Guided Missiles added for even more ‘splosions.
