Konami has announced that it will host a new Silent Hill Transmission broadcast on February 12. The broadcast will feature the latest information on the upcoming installment in the series, Silent Hill: Townfall. It will be viewable on YouTube. Additional details on what else to expect from the broadcast have not been announced.
Last month, Silent Hill series producer Motoi Okamoto stated that the team’s goal is to release at least one new Silent Hill game in 2026 and every year thereafter. “Following the release of Silent Hill 2 in October 2024, we were able to deliver Silent Hill f in September 2025, and the Silent Hill series is now back on track,” said Okamoto in the Famitsu article. “We aim to release about one title per year, including both announced and unannounced titles. We’re not sure how far we can achieve this, but we’ll do our best as the producers of the Silent Hill series. Ideally, we’d like to keep the buzz around Silent Hill constant.”
In a Q&A session with investors last year, Bloober Team revealed that development on the remake of the original Silent Hill has begun. The developer also disclosed that one of its teams is currently working on five different projects in the early stages, including one major project and four smaller ones.
