2K Confirms Borderlands 4 is Currently “In Active Development”

In a recent press release announcing the recent Gearbox acquisition, 2K president David Ismailer announced that the next installment in the Borderlands series is now “in active development”. “We have loved partnering with Gearbox on every iteration of the Borderlands franchise” said Ismailer, “and are excited to be in active development on the next installment in the series”. Back in November, signs that a Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2 may be in development with the Unreal Engine 4, alongside an unknown mysterious “Brothers in Arms’ ‘ game.
