Twitter user Idle Sloth affirms that tomorrow, May 4, 2021, Xbox Wire will announce a collaboration with Capcom that will see most of the Resident Evil games coming for free on Xbox Game Pass. Capcom expects more hype for the imminent launch of Resident Evil Village and Xbox could see a surge in subscribers.

The list of games includes basically every release except for Resident Evil: Village.

  1. Resident Evil 0
  2. Resident Evil: Code Veronica
  3. Resident Evil Gamecube remake
  4. Resident Evil 2 Remake
  5. Resident Evil 3 Remake
  6. Resident Evil Revelations
  7. Resident Evil Revelations 2
  8. Resident Evil 6
  9. Resident Evil 4
  10. Resident Evil 5

The insider also claims that Xbox Game Pass will announce Stardew Valley and will “reannounce” EA Sports FIFA 21 for the service.

Even if Idle Sloth has been proved to be a good source for Xbox news, the information has not been verified, take it with a grain of salt.

Klobrille, another notable Xbox Insider, has also been teasing some big Xbox news scheduled for this week. The insider replied to a tweet showing a meme of Xbox program manager Jason Ronald with his arms wide open and the caption: “We are gathered here today to celebrate the size of this W”.

Klobrille posted: “You’ll need that meme for next week. Save it.”

Xbox will announce new Game Pass games, and FPS boost games tomorrow. Capcom will release Resident Evil Village this Friday, May 7 for PlayStation, Xbox, Google Stadia, and PC.

Capcom recently announced the delay of Resident Evil Re:Verse, the multiplayer game that initially scheduled to launch along with Village as part of the 25th year anniversary of the franchise.
