NIS America has announced that it will release the latest action RPG in the Ys series, Ys X: Nordics in the west sometime this fall. It will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It will support both English and Japanese audio. An announcement trailer showing cutscenes and gameplay segments was also released. In Ys X: Nordics, players follow “young red-haired adventurer Adol Christin and the proud pirate Karja Balta,” as they “find themselves bound by fate—and the mysterious power of Mana. As they search for a way to undo the mystical ties that bind them, they soon find themselves caught up in a conflict between two factions”.
