Total War: Three Kingdoms Campaign Map Revealed in Latest Trailer

SEGA released today a new trailer which features the first glimpse of the game’s spectacular campaign map for their upcoming strategy game, Total War: Three Kingdoms. This stunning video showcases a land of vibrant colours and rich detail, but one plagued by tyranny and turbulence.

Check out the cinematic trailer of Total War: Three Kingdoms, featuring an in-engine cinematic video:

“In this time of chaos, the heavens shine on warlord Sun Jian, The Tiger of Jiangdong, when he finds the fabled Imperial Seal: a legendary artefact said to find its way to the true emperor. Believing destiny has chosen him to rule, he gathers his children to his side. The time is nigh to bring an end to conflict, and unify a land divided.

Historically, the Sun family played a vital role in the Three Kingdoms period by establishing the kingdom of Sun Wu; and this is where their dynastic journey began.

The next historical title in the Total War™ strategy series will launch in Spring 2019.

About Total War: Three Kingdoms

The year is 190CE. China is in turmoil.

The Han Dynasty crumbles before the child-emperor. He is but a figurehead; a mere puppet for the tyrant warlord Dong Zhuo. It is a brutal and oppressive regime, and as Dong Zhuo’s power grows, the empire slips further into the cauldron of anarchy.

But hope yet blossoms.

Three heroes, sworn to brotherhood in the face of tyranny, rally support for the trials ahead. Scenting opportunity, warlords from China’s great families follow suit, forming a fragile coalition in a bid to challenge Dong Zhuo’s remorseless rule. Will they triumph against the tyrant, or will personal ambition shatter their already crumbling alliance and drive them to supremacy?

The crucible fizzes. Allegiances shift. The fires of conflict stoke opportunity. Only one thing is certain: the very future of China will be shaped by its champions.”
