In a recent statement provided to Eurogamer, AdHoc Studios confirmed that Dispatch will be censored on the Nintendo Switch 2. However, the studio stated that the narrative experience will remain unchanged. Dispatch features moments of nudity and vulgar content, and while players can choose to censor many of these elements, censorship will seemingly be enabled by default on Nintendo Switch 2. “Different platforms have different content criteria, and submissions are evaluated individually,” AdHoc said in a statement. “We worked with Nintendo to ensure the content within the title met the criteria to release on their platforms, but the core narrative and gameplay experience remains identical to the original release.” AdHoc Studios also announced that Dispatch will launch on January 29, 2026 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
