According to prominent leaker NateTheHate in a recent episode of his podcast, the next 3D Mario game will launch sometime in 2027. Additionally, the leaker claims that a new “classic style” Star Fox game will launch this summer. It’s worth noting that these claims have yet to be confirmed by Nintendo. The last major official entry in the Star Fox series was Star Fox Zero, released for the Wii U in April 2016. The latest mainline 3D Mario title, Super Mario Odyssey, released for the Nintendo Switch on October 27, 2017.
