PlayStation’s budget for several major first party titles has seemingly accidently leaked as spotted by The Verge’s Tom Warren. The documents were revealed and published in order to discuss the amount needed to develop major first-party games at Sony Interactive Entertainment. However, parts of the document detailing the specific title budgets and development time were redacted poorly with a pen and scanned. As a result, some details about specific titles have been made public. This includes the Horizon Forbidden West $212 million budget, 300 employees, and five years of production time, and The Last of Us Part 2’s $220 million budget, 200 employees, and five year production time. Sony pulled the documents shortly after they were revealed.
