According to prominent leaker NateTheHate in a recent episode of his podcast, FromSoftware’s upcoming PvEvP title The Duskbloods will launch “late” this year for Nintendo Switch 2. This could mean it will release sometime in the winter or fall. It’s worth noting that this claim has yet to be confirmed by FromSoftware.
During a Creator’s interview last year, Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that the upcoming FromSoftware multiplayer title The Duskbloods will have twelve playable characters with different abilities and weapons. Each character will have their own identity and appearance and some will be able to attack with ranged attacks. Additionally, these characters can also be customizable to some extent. Lastly, players are given roles that determine their goals in each match. This includes roles to seek out either rivals and defeat them or companions to group with.
The game’s details:
Developed for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2; ‘THE DUSKBLOODS’ is a PvPvE title with online multiplayer at its core, where up to 8 players vie for supremacy among themselves and against challenging foes. Play as the “Bloodsworn”; a group that has transcended human strength thanks to their special blood, and throw yourself into a violent fray for “First Blood” as the twilight of humanity approaches. The moontears will flow for one and one alone in The Duskbloods, a brand-new multiplayer title from the creators of Dark Souls and Elden Ring, FromSoftware. Available exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2, The Duskbloods launches next year.
