NetEase Games has announced the new Marvel themed free-to-play team-based multiplayer game Marvel Rivals. A closed alpha test will launch sometime in May for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Players interested can register via the game’s official website. The game will feature 6v6 multiplayer gameplay, destructible environments, a variety of super heroes and villains, and more. An announcement trailer was also released. In Marvel Rivals, a “merciless clash between the tyrannical dictator Doctor Doom and his future counterpart from the year 2099 has forced countless universes to collide in the Timestream Entanglement, creating new worlds and crises still unknown.”
