Survey Reveals Players Want AI Teammates in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

A survey conducted by Ubisoft seeking player feedback on the community’s most coveted changes, fixes, and overall requests has revealed that over half of those who participated in the survey desire AI teammates in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

Moreover, the survey also revealed that over 70% of players are requesting new story content, while over 60% want new weapons, and over 50% desire more character and gunsmith customization.

Furthermore, Ubisoft revealed that some of the changes players want are already in-progress, such as removing the gear score and tiered loot system, which was referenced in the company’s Moving Forward letter on October 28, 2019. Improvements to enemy AI are also being implemented, which began with Title Update 1.0.3 on November 12, 2019. The ability to sell all weapons and gear is also a functionality on which the team is working, as well as the implementation of AI teammates (which was also addressed in the aforementioned Moving Forward letter).

A wealth of further miscellaneous changes and fixes are also being investigated and tweaked, such as improvements to vehicle handling, the ability to adjust or reinforce survival elements, and in-game economy changes (such as the removal of the daily battle points cap and an increase in the rewards received from Faction Missions).

The team also revealed that the first new story content will be coming to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in December with the Terminator Live Event. “In addition to these Live Events, we will also have the upcoming Adventures (Deep State and Transcendence) for Episode 2 and 3 of Year 1 respectively.”

Finally, the team is investigating adding a GPS System on the TacMap to make navigating to objectives simpler. New skills are also on the list of changes being made to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, with the additions to be released early next year.
