A new television commercial trailer for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate may have just unintentionally revealed a new feature coming to the party brawler. Eage-eyed scouts have noticed in the trailer’s opening shot that the screen in the background has a new mode featured in the game’s main menu – Stage Builder.

As for now, there has been no official confirmation of a new stage builder mode in Ultimate, but we could see one as a surprise reveal for the next big update – which would be version 3.0.
The upcoming spring update will include the long-awaited Joker form Persona 5 to the line up. It was also stated by Nintendo that we’ll hear more details about the update – as well as the Fighter Pass – later in the month. Perhaps we’ll hear some news during the rumored surprise Nintendo Direct said to air on April 11, 2019.
