In a recent episode of the Kinda Funny Gamescast, Tim Gettys claimed that a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is in development and could be released this year. “I was thinking about this earlier when I was trying to come up with a game that wouldn’t make this list, and I was thinking about how… ‘received’… the last one was, but the Jedi Survivor sequel I think has a solid chance of coming out this year,” Gettys said. “I don’t think it’s a slam dunk… I can see that game being announced in May and coming out in September.” He also added that he has “heard some things.” It is worth noting that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was announced and released in the same year, so while unlikely, it would not be surprising if a new installment were both announced and released within the same year. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor first launched on April 28, 2023 and is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
