During The Game Awards 2025, Arcanaut Studios released a trailer announcing the narrative action RPG Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic. It is a spiritual successor to Knights of the Old Republic. It is notably being directed by Casey hudson, original director of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. A release date was not announced but it will launch for PC and unspecified consoles.
