Developer Rare has announced that Sea of Thieves will receive an anti-cheat update sometime next week. The game will be using Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat which is used by games like Apex Legends. Additionally, the developer also announced that the Safer Seas mode for the game’s online version will allow players without an online subscription. Formerly, players would need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play the mode. Sea of Thieves is available now for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be coming to PlayStation 5 on April 30 and is available to wishlist now.
