Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Kou Shibusawa announced Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake: Destiny and Strategy Expansion Pack. It will launch on January 29, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam. The game will be available in the west as DLC for Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake. A physical release has yet to be announced. An announcement trailer for the expansion pack was also released.
