Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Releases Green Army Men Update for Thanksgiving

Tripwire Interactive and the “Green Army Men Team” released the Green Army Men Thanksgiving update for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam today.

The new content includes more guns, a new map, and closely follows key gameplay updates. The ‘Green Army Men’ DLC for RS 2: Vietnam is available on Steam, and includes all Christmas, summer, and back-to-school content—as well as the new Thanksgiving update.

The Green Army Men Thanksgiving Update releases three brand-new weapons, one of which is the bazooka. In addition, players’ toy soldiers can “jump on the table, explore the yard, and snipe from the counter in a new Thanksgiving-themed map.” The new map has players competing inside and outside a house decorated with Thanksgiving-themed preparations. Moreover, Tripwire Interactive and the Green Army Men team are committed to keeping playing with toys fun, having recently adjusted the time-to-kill and damage models for the Green Army Men DLC, based on community feedback.”

To promote the Green Army Men Thanksgiving Update, Tripwire Interactive has started a franchise sale on Steam for all Red Orchestra and Rising Storm titles, including DLC.

All RS 2: Vietnam players can play the ‘Green Army Men’ DLC for free as the Riflemen class. All other classes for this DLC can only be unlocked by purchasing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam — Green Army Men.

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is available on PC and is the sequel to Rising Storm, which won PC Gamer Magazine’s 2013 ‘Multiplayer Game of the Year,’ published by Tripwire Interactive and developed by Antimatter Games.
