As reported by The Game Post citing a former employee, a multiplayer shooter was being developed by Respawn Entertainment but was cancelled. Former executive assistant at Respawn Emilee Evans, recently commented on a cancelled “incubation project”. “The unannounced incubation project I was a part of for the past year was canceled this week, so I am joining the group of extremely talented and kind people in the games industry searching for a new role,” she wrote in a now deleted LinkedIn post. Evans states that she is looking for a new role which could mean that some employees at the studio were also laid off.
