Gearbox Publishing and developer Gunfire Games recently announced the release of the new crossplay update for the survival third-person shooter Remnant 2. The feature is supported across all platforms. Remnant 2 launched on July 25, 2023 and is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Gunfire Games president and Remnant II director David Adams commented on the news in a press release, saying:
“Cross-play has been one of the most player-requested features for Remnant II, and our community has been so awesome waiting patiently for this feature to roll out. We’re so excited to launch this update today as the team has been working hard to make it a reality. There’s even more Remnant II content to come, including the second downloadable content!”

The limited-time in-game event “Aberration Domination” has also made a comeback. From today to March 5, hordes of Aberrations have spawned across all worlds, and players who defeat these foes can collect Corrupted Shards and use them to craft new corrupted weapons. This event brings five new corrupted versions of the following weapons: Savior, Twisted Arbalest, Sorrow, Cube Gun, and Nebula.

In this upcoming downloadable content for Remnant II, The One True King has awakened and is out for blood.
