Rainbow Six Extraction Announcement

Rainbow Six Extraction debuted at the Ubisoft Forward conference. Fans were wowed with creepy aliens and an exciting cinematic trailer. In this new Rainbow Six game, players unite to fight a common enemy.

In the cinematic trailer Ela, Lion, and Nomad band together, putting their lives on the line to save Hibana from an alien threat in an unpredictable containment zone. After the cinematic trailer, fans were pleased to see an impressive gameplay sneak-peek.

What we know so far about gameplay are these details from the official Ubisoft website:

With development being led by Ubisoft Montreal, Rainbow Six Extraction is a PvE co-op experience where you and up to two other players can form a squad composed of Rainbow Six Operators who have joined Ash, Mira, and Thermite to form the Rainbow Exogenous Analysis and Containment Team (REACT).

  • LEAD ELITE RAINBOW SIX OPERATORS

Pick from 18 Rainbow Six operators. Assemble a squad in Co-op of up to three Operators, or go solo. Each operator has a specific set of weapons and abilities to learn improve and master, and improve through a new progression-system.

  • RISK IT ALL IN CONTAINMENT ZONES

Explore 12 uniquely designed maps featuring procedurally generated challenges will test your team every time. Knowledge, cooperation and a tactical approach are your best weapons to survive. Fail against the enemies and your Operators will go Missing in Action (MIA).

  • FIGHT THE ARCHÆANS

Be prepared to fight a lethal, unpredictable and constantly evolving Alien Threat. You will have to count on your teammates to face each of the 10 parasitic archetypes. Their abilities, combined with the alien ecosystem, will stand in your way.

Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on September 16 for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and Stadia.
