PS5 and Xbox Anaconda Could Run Games at 4K 240FPS

Popular video game industry analyst Michael Pachter said to GamingBolt that both Microsoft and Sony are developing the PS5 and Xbox Anaconda consoles to run games at 4K resolutions with no effort. This is expected since with the introduction of 4k displays, every device wants to be able to support it. But the most unexpected claim that Patcher made, was that these consoles will run games at up to 240FPS, something unheard of in the industry.

Gamespew said in an article on their website:

“Currently, most console games struggle to maintain 30 FPS. With most TVs only supporting 60 FPS, that’s the Holy Grail for most console gamers, and if you have an Xbox One X or PS4 Pro quite a few games will target it. But 240 FPS? Only expect VR games that look like PS3 titles to maybe reach those heady heights. And then, why would you really want them to? That’s another one of Michael Pachter’s predictions, by the way, that VR will be a feature of both PS5 and the next Xbox.”

As of today, there isn’t any information on what the Playstation 5 and the Xbox Anaconda can do. The only thing that we know is that these consoles will be an advanced version of the current generation, and they will no doubt will feature prettier visuals for their games, since you can’t market that the console is groundbreaking for running games at 240FPS, but you can market them for making prettier visuals.

Another prediction from Michael Patcher he made that appeared in a recent Gameindustry.biz article, is that he claims that following the failure of Fallout 76, Bethesda will begin to speed up the development of their anticipated game The Elder Scrolls VI, to nake sure it releases this year. Only time will tell if these predictions come true or not, so take this news with a grain of salt, as always.
