Prominent games industry reported Greg Miller took to Twitter over the weekend to announce that he would be delaying the recording of his popular “PS I Love You XOXO” Playstation podcast due to three rumors he has heard about the console giant.
“Man, looking like it might be a VERY interesting week for PlayStation if even one of the three rumors I’ve heard is true. As such, we’re gonna delay recording PS I Love You XOXO until Thursday.”

Of course speculation is now swirling about what exactly Miller could be talking about. Most people think that one of the announcements is about the “Spartacus,” codename for Playstation’s rival to Microsoft’s Game Pass. In a report last week, Bloomberg claims that Sony could be poised to make an announcement about the program this week according to sources.
The service will combine Playstation Now and Playstation Plus, and will have three different tiers according to the rumors. The service will reportedly launch for PS4 and PS5 and is supposed to provide players with free games, extended demos and a catalog of classic Playstation games from PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP. However, the service will not be bringing it’s biggest games to the service, at least not right away. Games like God of War: Ragnarok will not be released on the service day one.
However, according to Jordan Middler from VGC, the rumors that Miller is referring to is not an announcement about Spartacus, but something else. After corroborating that big news could be announced this week, he also made a point in a follow up tweet to say that it was, in fact, not related to Sony’s new subscription plan.

It isn’t known what these announcements could be, but both Miller and Middler aren’t saying what they heard, yet. If what they say is to be believed, this could be a very big week for Playstation.
