The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), recently posted a statement via Insider Gaming concerning players who have no interest in eating pals, which is one of the many mechanics and features in the game which is considered as cruel by some. However, PETA did not comment on the potential cruelty players can enact on pals and instead only stated that it plans to create a vegan guide to help gamers that “want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside.” Palworld launched on January 19 and is available now for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. Palworld has been a massive success with over 8 million copies sold and 2 million peak concurrent players. It sold over a million copies in its first 8 hours of release.

PETA has already heard from many Palworld fans who have no interest in eating ‘Pals’ and want a vegan guide created for the game. It’s ‘Veganuary’ after all, and gamers want to help animals by eating vegan in their game worlds and outside.

Palworld is a game about living a slow life with mysterious creatures “Pal” or throwing yourself into life-and-death battles with poachers.
You can make Pals fight, breed, help with farming, or work in factories. You can also sell them off or even slaughter them to eat! That however, is forbidden by law.

Survival – This world is full of dangers such as food shortages, harsh weather, and illegal poachers. You must be prepared to do anything if you want to survive. You may even need to consume Pals sometimes…
