Developer Pocketpair has announced that the early access release for its massively successful survival monster collecting game Palworld, has surpassed 19 million players across PC and Xbox. Additionally, the developer announced that the title has also now sold over 12 million copies on Steam and the Xbox Game Pass version specifically, has surpassed 7 million players. Lastly, according to Microsoft, the Xbox version has now surpassed 3 million active users, making it the biggest third party Game Pass launch ever. The company also claimed that it is working on fully supporting the Xbox version. “We’re providing support to enable dedicated servers,” the company said in a recent press release, “offering engineering resources to help with GPU and memory optimisation, speeding up the process to make Palworld updates available for players, and working with the team to optimize the title for our platform.” Palworld launched for early access on January 19 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Despite being a recent massive success with over 8 million copies sold and 2 million peak concurrent players on Steam has also been rather contentious.

Palworld is a game about living a slow life with mysterious creatures “Pal” or throwing yourself into life-and-death battles with poachers.
You can make Pals fight, breed, help with farming, or work in factories. You can also sell them off or even slaughter them to eat! That however, is forbidden by law.
