Pre-orders for Ori and the Will of the Wisps Collector’s Edition are now available on Amazon.
Included in the game’s Collector’s Edition are the game disc, art of Ori and the Will of the Wisps book (English only), the piano collections soundtrack CD, iconic Golden feather steelbook case, and original soundtrack music MP3 download.
The Collector’s Edition is scheduled to release on March 11, 2020. Ori and the Will of the Wisps will launch exclusively on Microsoft platforms, PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One. The game is a sequel to 2015’s Ori and the Blind Forest and was originally announced during Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017. It is planned to be a 4K UHD, Xbox One X Enhanced and Xbox Play Anywhere title.
Players will “immerse [themselves] in a hand-crafted narrative experience. Unravel Ori’s true destiny in this emotional and engaging story-driven adventure with a stunning soundtrack. Explore vast, exotic, and strikingly beautiful environments.”
In addition, gamers will have a multitude of new skills to master. “Guide Ori through a journey of Untold danger using newly acquired spirit weapons, spells, and attacks. Utilize an all-new shard system to power up Ori’s newfound abilities and customize [one’s] style of play.”
Fans will combat “epic enemies” and tackle “challenging puzzles” while “encountering larger-than-life bosses.” In addition, players will need assistance from the game’s new characters, “who will help [them] uncover Ori’s mysterious fate.”
Ori and the Will of the Wisps also introduces a new game mode: Spirit Trials. Gamers will “dash, burrow, grapple, and leap to high scores in unique speed-run challenges throughout the game.”
The game also received a new trailer at E3 2019.
