Nintendo Switch owners are going to get to set sail with Luffy again worldwide. Bandai Namco has announced One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition, the version of the game with over 40 costume and challenge episodes included and local co-op that involves options like each person using a single Joy-Con to play, will be released in North America and Europe. It comes to the North American eShop on May 10, 2018 and European eShop on May 11, 2018.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition allows players to gather every member of the Straw-Hat-Crew and experience Luffy’s journey from Fuschia Village to the island of Dressrosa ruled by the evil Doflamingo. Included in the package is the base game, over 40 pieces of DLC, and new features such as the ability to play local co-op using Switch’s Joy-Con.

Bandai Namco has created a One Piece video game for true fans of the manga and anime, empowering you to take control of your favorite character — no matter who that may be — to take down some rival pirates and Donquixote. The gameplay and action looks buttery-smooth in the trailer footage, and we’re dying to go hands-on ourselves and learn how this runs on the Switch.
