New Gameplay Trailer of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game Released

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, released today a brand new gameplay trailer for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. The trailer showcases new features and changes that are being introduced to the game in the latest GWENT content update called Homecoming. The trailer also offers an introduction into The Witcher Card Game for beginners, its round-based gameplay, two tactically distinct rows, unique melee and ranged card-battling mechanics, as well as it’s deck building system.

Check out the gameplay trailer of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, featuring some gameplay footage:

GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is coming out of beta on October 23rd, following the launch of the Homecoming update. The launch of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game will follow December 4th.

Recruit an army from among five factions. Each faction features unique cards and offers a different playstyle.

Nilfgaard is a powerful realm that rose to power through conquest of nearby kingdoms. More than any other faction in GWENT, the Nilfgaardian Empire relies on diplomacy and subterfuge to disrupt enemy strategies.

The world of The Witcher is infested with unspeakable horrors and savage beasts. Most of them are gathered in the fearsome Monsters faction. Driven by their primal instincts, these creatures will do anything to gain more strength.

Skelligers are a proud people, known to have the deepest respect for their long-standing traditions and their fellow clansfolk. These warriors embrace the glory of battle and draw strength from death and wounds sustained in combat.

Representing the combined forces of Temeria, Redania and Kaedwen, the Northern Realms are proud kingdoms, united by their desire for independence. With near unmatched numbers and some of the deadliest engines of war, they are truly a force to be reckoned with.

The Scoia’tael are elven and dwarven rebels fighting against the discrimination of non-humans. Their forces are supremely agile, able to outmaneuver their foes on the battlefield. As befits guerrilla fighters, they’re masters of ambushes and traps.
