Ubisoft’s upcoming new Tom Clancy shooter featuring the stealth-driven Ghosts, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, is shaping up to be one thrilling take on the iconic series. Fans have been treated to multiple different gameplay reveals showing off various new elements coming yo the series once Breakpoint releases later this year.

The latest video reveal during this year’s Gamescom event shows off some of the upcoming multiplayer PvP gameplay, including a look at the new mode hitting the series, Ghost War.

Check out the latest trailer for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’s multiplayer modes below:

The official description for the new multiplayer PvP Ghost War mode via Ubisoft reads: “Ghost War is an intense 4v4 experience built on the tactical squad play from the Ghost Recon series, where strategy and teamwork are just as important as skill. At launch, players will be able to choose from four classes, Assault, Panther, Sharpshooter and Medic, each fulfilling specific roles on the battlefield as they engage with enemies across six unique maps. New features, such as cover mechanics, impact of the terrain and injury system were adapted from the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s campaign and will bring additional depth to the experience.”

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint will take players to the fictional island setting of Auroa, of which has been taken over by former Ghost soldiers now apart of a lethal military group called The Wolves. Players will take on the world solo or in 4-player co-op as they fight to take out The Wolves.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is set to arrive on the date of October 4, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC. To see more on the game, check out additional 50-minute gameplay footage from last month, new trailers released and more.
