Ghost of Yotei

New Ghost of Yōtei Details Revealed

In a recent interview with VGC, Ghost of Yōtei co-director Jason Connell revealed that the game will have a similar playtime to Ghost of Tsushima, while maintaining its “story structure”. Ghost of Tsushima notably takes an average of 25 hours to beat. According to Connell, “you’re going to have a beginning, middle, and an end, so while Atsu’s journey is to hunt down the Yōtei Six, by no means are we going to let you go and kill all six with no story structure.” Additionally, co-director Nate Fox confirmed Ghost of Tsushima’s protagonist Jin Sakai won’t be featured in Ghost of Yōtei in any way. “While we really love Jin Sakai and his story of letting go of his honor to become the ghost, we wanted to let players experience this new version of what it is to be a ghost in Feudal Japan,” he said. Ghost of Yotei will launch on October 2 for PlayStation 5.
