Mortal Kombat 12 Gets New Teaser Possibly Hinting at a Reboot

A short teaser for the upcoming Mortal Kombat game was recently released via a Tweet from Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account. The teaser seemingly hints at a series reboot as it features a clock hand skipping over the 12 mark. The last teaser also featured an explosion similar to a Big Bang which may hint that the game’s universe will reset itself. Details for the next Mortal Kombat game has yet to be revealed, but an official reveal is reportedly on the horizon.

Details of the latest game in the series, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate can be seen below:

Definitive Mortal Kombat 11 Experience – Two critically acclaimed story campaigns taking players on a time-bending adventure that continues the epic Mortal Kombat saga, along with the full roster of 37 playable characters.
