To promote the upcoming Barbie movie, Microsoft has announced that it will be giving away a special Barbie themed Xbox Series S console, that’s created exclusively for the competition, designed to look like a Barbie Dreamhouse, alongside special Xbox Wireless Controller faceplates designed after Barbie and Ken’s outfits. Additionally, Forza Horizon 5 will feature Barbie themed cars namely the 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV and the 2022 GMC Hummer EV which can be claimed from the game’s in-game Message Center. Lastly, Xbox will also be hold an international sweepstakes competition, where players have a chance to win one of 10 special Barbie dolls. Each doll is “reflective of the Barbie line, which is the most diverse doll line on the market”, and will have “the latest Xbox Gear fashion.”

The film sees Barbie hit the road in a classic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette — painted her signature pink hue, of course — while Ken cruises alongside in a 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup. Now, Forza Horizon 5 players can join them in virtual versions of both cars. Racing at the intersection of style, speed and self-expression, “Barbie” fans new and old can find the inspiration to follow their own road and get in the game. Everyone who plays Forza Horizon 5 will be gifted these themed cars — just download them from the in-game Message Center and they will appear in your garage, ready for racing – even if you don’t live in Barbie Land.

Fans can also see the video debut as part of a very special livestream on July 14th from the World of Barbie, where fans can learn about “Barbie” and see our hosts race in Barbie and Ken rides from the movie, in Forza Horizon 5.
