Microsoft Aims to Bring Games “Across all Platforms” With The Help of AI

In a recent interview, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated that the company is “very happy with what’s going on in gaming,” and that the company aims to build games “and deliver them to folks across all platforms.” “We think that now, we have the ability to really do what we’ve always set out to do” said Nadella, “which is build great games and deliver them to folks across all platforms, right, which is Xbox and consoles the PCs, and now even including mobile gaming and cloud gaming.” Additionally, Nadella claims that the company is using the similar “infrastructure layer” and “set of transistors” for old graphics, as it is for AI. And due to this “you can connect the dots and see why gaming is going to be more strategic to us.” These statements coincide with recent claims of several first-party Xbox games coming to other platforms such as HI-FI Rush. However, these claims have still yet to be confirmed by Microsoft.
