During the Game Awards, Atlus revealed a new trailer announcing that the upcoming JRPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will launch in fall 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The trailer shows several characters, gameplay segments, enemies, environments, voice lines, the world and more. In the game, players must “embark on a journey, overcoming obstacles and forging bonds with friends.”

Story

In a town reminiscent of medieval Europe, Joker and the gang were attacked by a mysterious armed group. Right when they were facing certain doom, they were saved by a person who goes by the name “Erina the Revolutionary.” In return for saving them, she asks for their help in her “revolution” efforts. Will the Phantom Thieves take up her offer?
