Marathon Will Permanently Ban Players With No Second Chances

In a recent blog post on its official website, Bungie revealed plans for security and moderation in its upcoming first-person shooter, Marathon. The studio confirmed that cheaters will be permanently banned with no “second chances.” “We are taking a strong stance against cheating, and anyone found to be cheating or developing cheats will be permanently banned from playing Marathon forever, no second chances,” the post stated. “That said, no system is perfect, so we will have an appeals system to monitor for any issues in detection.” Bungie has announced that the extraction FPS Marathon will launch on March 5 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
