The Lords of the Fallen

Lords of the Fallen 1.5 ‘Master of Fate’ Update Available Now

Publisher CI Games and developer Hexworks have announced the release of the 1.5 “Master of Fate,” update for Lords of the Fallen. The update adds significant performance, optimization, and stability improvements. It also adds new armor and weapon sets, new projectiles, new questlines, and more. Lastly, the update also notably adds the Advanced Game Modifier System. This system allows players to fully customize their game experience to make it easier or harder. Modifiers include the ability to randomize enemies, alter mob density, enable a form of permadeath, and more. A trailer for update was also released. Lords of the Fallen is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

Hexworks executive producer and head of studio Saul Gascon commented on the release in a press release, saying:

“We’d like to thank the many players who have embarked upon Mournstead since we launched six months ago; their belief in our vision has been a real driving force for us. In response to their support for the game, we expanded the period of live support for Lords of the Fallen with an ambitious post-launch roadmap. This was built around four significant content updates, alongside numerous smaller releases, which included tons of new content and major performance and stability improvements. Reaching version 1.5 with the ‘Master of Fate’ update and its genuinely groundbreaking modifier system marks the completion of that roadmap, making the Lords of the Fallen experience the best it’s ever been.”
