Wildlight Entertainment has broken its social media silence following the reveal of its upcoming PvP raid shooter Highguard at The Game Awards 2025. The developer announced that the game will receive an in-depth look featuring “a full gameplay deep dive, year one plans, and much more.” Highguard will launch on January 26 as a free-to-play title for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

From the creators of Apex Legends and Titanfall, comes Highguard: a player-versus-player raid shooter where players will ride, fight, and raid as Wardens, arcane gunslingers sent to fight for control of a mythical continent.
Battle rival Warden crews for possession of the Shieldbreaker, then break into and destroy the enemy base to secure territory in this all-new breed of shooter.
