Samurai Shodown is nearing its official release date for the reboot of the series and SNK has not been shy on showing off the roster of characters leading up to launch day. We’ve already seen most of the 16 character roster for the game, with the latest trailer giving fans a good look at the ninja warrior, Hanzo.

Along with the 16 base characters, SNK has also announced a 4 fighter season pass set as post-launch DLC. Samurai Shodown enthusiasts will also be able to dive into the more classic era of the series with a NeoGeo Collection set to arrive for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC this coming fall.
Samurai Shodown is set to release on June 25, 2019 for the PS4 and Xbox One while the PC and Switch versions will release in Q4 2019.
