According to a post from grunt.api on Twitter, who has previously revealed details about several Halo games, Halo: Campaign Evolved is reportedly set to launch on July 28 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Early Access will also be available from July 23. The leaker posted a gif of a comment with the text: “EA: (18 × 7 × (MMXX + VI) mod 31) + 1, OR: (8 × 7 × (MMXX + VI) mod 31) + 1.” Following this, the community deduced that “EA” likely stands for “Early Access” and “OR” for “Official Release,” using these details to infer the release dates. However, as these details are unconfirmed, they should be taken with a grain of salt.

According to YouTuber Rebs Gaming, the upcoming Halo installment, Halo: Campaign Evolved, will feature a skin system, but there will not be an in-game shop. He claims that the skins are based on the Mark 5 armor “reshaped and redesigned to look different.” He also states that there are “other suits” that provide Master Chief’s base armor, though these may be “modified or cut before release.” Additionally, Rebs Gaming cited an anonymous source who claimed that the game will feature weapon customization and is “pretty much content complete,” meaning it is playable from start to finish. Halo: Campaign Evolved will launch sometime in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. It will also be available on Game Pass.
